30 PLUS YEARS OF KARATE AT HOPKINS The Johns Hopkins University Karate Club, founded in 1976, offers instruction in traditional Japanese Karate. Our primary instructor is Janet Padgett from the nearby Shotokan Karate Club of Maryland. We are members of the International Shotokan Karate Federation and are sponsored by the GRO. All members of the Hopkins community are welcome and may join the club at any time. No experience is necessary.
